I Don't Understand

©Tori

If I leave, will you care?
If I die, will you notice that I'm not there?
When I cry, do you see my pain?
When I lash out, do you doubt me sane?
If I stay, will things work out?
If I had guts I'd kill myself.
I'd rather do it myself than anyone else,
But I'm afraid it will hurt, so I'll shoot myself
While wearing a black t-shirt
And listening to Adam's song,
So Blink is all at fault.
"The music they listen to, the anger has to stop",
But it won't and neither will you.
I know you don't love me,
You told me to go to my dad's.
What are you trying to prove?
How do you make me so sad?
Your ignorance makes me so mad!
I feel all alone in a house full of stupidity.
You don't care 'cause you don't understand me.
You try so hard to meet his family's standards,
He'll still love you, even if you can't.
But you continue to try;
You dress the right way
And buy the right things
And you always answer correctly when the telephone rings,
But mom who are you trying to be?
