One Less Day

©Tori

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the lord my soul to keep,
And if I die before I wake,
That's one less smile I'll have to fake.
One less to day to comb my hair,
And one less day to worry what I'll wear.
One less day I'll go to school,
And one less day I'll break a rule.
One less day to fight with friends,
And one less to for my heart to mend.
One less day to play my part,
And one less day he'll break my heart.
One less day to be looked down upon,
And one less day my mind is gone.
One less day to impress,
And one less day I'll try my best.
One less day to care for him,
And one less battle I can't win.
One less day to face my problems,
And one less day I'll have to solve them.
One less day I'll be forced to pretend,
And then that day I'll die for him...
